Maria di Sant’Elena

An original creation by FrauFrisorFosca in the form of a fashion show featuring clothes from the archives of the brand Maria di Sant’Elena, worn by women of all ages.
A relationship between fashion, history, and performance overseen by Fosca. A vision of the contemporary, a creation in the form of a fashion show with clothes from the archives of Maria Puddu, designer of the brand Maria di Sant’Elena, whose premises were once located in Piazza Antinori in Florence. The women’s fashion brand, active between the 1960s and the 1980s, was modelled in the Sala Bianca and together with the Fontana Sisters was an international representative for Italian fashion. Over the years it also partnered with key figures like Regina Schrecker. Clothes from the Maria di Sant’Elena collections will be modelled by women “over 50” who joined the project and participated with Fosca in an initiative of shared creation and creative workshopping.
